The original roots of complementary medicine continue to be found in India, where it is still widely used public healthcare. Due the significant rise frequency diabetes mellitus has recently attracted attention. It characterized by an increase blood sugar levels over threshold and overflow added into urine. purpose this research look traditional medical knowledge plants cure Gajapati district Odisha. Interactions with Savara, Shaber, Kandha Lodha tribes were gather information on anti-diabetic plants. Interacting men allowed researchers chronicle indigenous plants' qualities. There are 19 all, spread across 14 families, which have been identified as being treat mellitus. medicinal plant belonging family Euphorbiaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Araceae, Caesalpiniaceae, Apocynaceae Polypidiaceae most frequently used.
